A hit the ground rod and wire outside of my house with the lawn mower and cut the copper wire, need to repair.?
its a brand new house and there are 2 ground rods but only the one has a visible heavy copper wire going into the house. well i hit it mowing the lawn and cut the wire in half from the rod to the house and dont know how i can fix it myself without having to call somebody.

Call an electrician immediately. They will be able to reattach the wire, check for continuity to the panel, and possible drive the ground rod down further so you don't hit it again. An inadequate ground can cause a lot of problems in your home. Get this taken care of quickly. Good luck.
yes just attach the wire back to the Ground rod
It is very important that you fix this right away. If lightening were to hit the power line coming into your home, that grounding wire provides the path of least resistance for the current. It protects your electrical appliances and the wiring inside your house.
I don't know if I'd try to drive the ground wire farther into the ground. How in the world, in the first place, was the ground wire positioned by the builder where someone could get a mower over it?
Very important that this gets done. You'll probably be safer to call an electrician. But, if you don't, cut the power at the meter. You could get a nasty shock.
Dangerous situation. This is worse if lightening ever came into the line. It would try to ground out wherever it could and could cause your house to catch fire.
get another wire and extend the current one
Call a qualified professional electrician, the repair is fast and easy. You do not have the needed tools to make the repair and they are not worth buying for the one splice you need. It's cheaper, faster and easier to call a qualified professional electrician to do the work. Do it now, you need the ground for safety.
you can do it your self. then just Pound the groung rod down some more so you dont hit it again. hope this helps
