		<description>Regardless of what you do, be sure you take the spark plug wire off the spark plug before you do anything. You don&#039;t want the mower starting while you are working on the blade.</description>

		<description>If you&#039;re really low on cash, and don&#039;t care much about the mower anyway, then hammer away.  It won&#039;t hurt to try it, but if it vibrates more than it did before, it&#039;s probably too far gone.

Otherwise, just spend the ten bucks on a new one.  An off-balance blade will wear out the bearings in your mower quickly.</description>

		<description>I used to mow a &#039;lawn&#039; with a lot of rocks. I hammered my blade flat many times--no problem. A lot of vibration would indicate that it is not flat so hammer it again.
  I also sharpened the blade with a rough file and had no problems.</description>
