Craftsman riding mower will not engage to go forward.?

mower hesitates to move forward, feels like the rear axel does not enguage. If pushed, the mower will move forwrd but only 20 or so feet or when making a turn. little or no torque

wheres the best place to go for repalcement parts?

    The gearshift linkage on those mowers is not very stiff. It will allow the gear shift handle to go into the forward slot but still not engage the transmission gears. Try to tighten up on the linkage train, it can bend or sag from use and cause too much slop.

    Sears on-line has parts. They’re pretty good about stocking and delivery. I sure had to use them a lot.

    I had one of these for years and hated every nut and bolt in the thing.
