Does anyone have a recommendations on a 33" push mower for a one acre residential lawn?
I am looking to spend about 00-00. I didn't want to go with a riding mower and figured the 33" deck on the push mower would accomidate me just fine. I'm looking for anyone who has bought one and how its performed for them. Thanks!
to the first post, read the question correctly. I DO want a push mower.

In Virginia I used a 32" Graveley sickle mower on five quarter acre horse paddocks. Just walking behind and steering it on that rough ground was work. Didn’t need a gym membership. Graveley’s are a tried and tested machine. I also had the snow plow and tiller attachments and I think they make rotary and reel mowers for them. A reel set-up would be the way to go. I sold it fifteen years ago for $750, wish I hadn’t. You might be lucky enough to find a used one in your price range. Honda and Wheelhorse are good machines in your price range. RScott
Aw why not a push mower will keep you in shape.
I think once you get into summer and you realize how much work it is pushing a mower for a whole acre in 90 degrees you will regret not getting a riding mower. I have both a push mower and a riding mower, plus a weed eater. An acre is a large lot. You can get riding mower. My lot is larger then that but, it takes me several hours to mow in the heat plus all the push mowing and weed eating. I can spend a half a day taking care of the lawn every week when the grass is growing a lot.

so you mean a motorized push mower as compared to a ride mower ? be sure to get self propelled wheels and also a good strong engine, that will make it easier ( if you are talking about a motorized one )
