Green mtd mower blade disengaging?

I have a green mtd mower and the blade disengages every so often whenever i cut the lawn and i was needing to know how to fix this probem.

The link below is to their customer service area – it sounds like you could have a loose, damaged or bent connection to the mowing attachment or you could have a short in the clutch where the blade operation is controlled. In either case, there could be a bad problem if the mower attachment came loose while operating – so contact the folks below or look under mower service in the yellow pages for a place that you can take it to for repairs.
