How do you fix a problem with mixed gass and oil in lawn mower engine?

I was mowing my Father in-laws grass, of course the mower ran dry. i filled the mower up with an unlabled gas tank. I was running his mower, it started smoking then eventually stopped. i came to the realization that i put mixed oil and gas into the tank instead of just plain gas. what can i do?

    if you can drain tank than do it. If you cant get it completely empty than get it as close as possible and than fill up with regular gas. Th spark plug may need changing from the mixed fuel
