How do you make a gas pedal for a riding mower?
I am going to take a 5hp murray riding mower with a chain drive and chain the sprockets. How do I add a gas pedal? Now you put it into gear and go? How do you add a gas pedal into the mower?

    You buy a generic throttle cable and connect it to the carburetor butterfly valve. Go to a used car junk yard and buy a throttle assembly from a car and mount it on the deck of your mower. Attach the throttle cable to the throttle pedal and add a return spring so it will go back to an idle when you take your foot off. Great Idea, you can do this.
