I bought a brand new lawn mower and used it once then three weeks later it wont start?

This happened before and then someone stole my old so now I have the same issue with my new one. What could cause the lawn mower to mess up after once use then sitting for 3 weeks.

    The first thing I would check would be the air filter. If it looks dirty or if the grass was wet when you last mowed that could be your problem. If the filter is clogged then your mower wont get enough air when trying to start. To test this take off the air filter and try to start the mower. ( If it does start do not continue to mow without the filter)

    If that is not it I would check your oil level ( too much can be just as bad not enough).

    Try that as a start. Those are two of the most common problems as to why a new mower wont start.
