Is a john deere riding mower from dealer built good?

    A genuine JD Mower thru a dealer is good. They are built like the proverbial sh*it house
    I had a L100, 20hp Vtwin, 48"deck mowing 2.5 acres every week, 2 yr gaurantee. She never missed a beat for 2.5 yrs I owned it.
    Only sold it as we moved to a urban property

    Yes, my grandfather has been using john deere over 60 years and he wouldn't have anything that was good. ;)

    Some JD mowers are junk. They are MTD mowers with a JD sticker slapped on them. To my knowledge, this has only been going on for a few years. If you are buying it from a JD dealer, it is probably not one of these cheapened models.
