I’ve got a Honda mower last fall from Home Depot, used it twice last year & now it won’t start?

I had new gas & no matter what I try it won't run. The most it will do is chug for a few seconds & die. I've used two cans of starter fluid which will keep it running, but after I stop spraying the engine quits. Any help before I drag it in for service would be appreciated. It is a HRX217K2VKA model. Thanks!

    hey now…

your fuel line may be clogged. drain the gas tank, find the fuel line and remove it. clean it out and try again

Did you drain or use up the gas before you stored it last fall? Sounds like the thing is starving for gas which could mean the gas lines are plugged with old gas. A service tech told me that the gas we use now starts breaking down as quickly as two weeks after buying it. I had a chainsaw that did the same thing because I didn't add gas additive or run the thing dry before storing it. Cost me plenty in the spring. Good luck Bob :)
