What is this lawn mower part?

I would like to get a certain part to repair my husbands push mower. He ran into a rock with it and this little metal piece (looks like piece of metal with two holes, to hold the top handle to the handle that connects to the actual mower using two bolts) Does anyone know what this part is called? It's about halfway down the arm if that helps? Sorry for the crappy description!

It sounds like a bracket or brace that holds the handle together.
Go to the website of the maker and look for diagrams of parts, or take it to a mower repair shop. They’ll have one.

Is there any way that you can take a photo of the part. Once you get that posted, you’ll get your answer…I guarantee it.

Look on line under the manufacturer and see if it shows a picture of the part. You maybe able to order the part on line. Either that or take the part to a service store and order it.

I would say if he hit a rock hard enough to break the handle or whatever it is the mowwer has bigger problems than that. If you hit something you can bend the shaft that comes out of the motor. Then it’s junk. You can start it and see if it vibrates, worse then normal if it does it’s bent and dangerous. Be CAREFUL
