where does the tube breather go on a craftsman lawn mower?

i took the engine apart for a class this past winter.had to leave class so forgot where breather went.its a craftsman 4.5 hp briggs & stratton model #917.379241 that is what the manual online said.the engine said the model # is 10M902-0489E1

    If you are talking about the crankcase vent tube, it goes from side of the engine to the air filter box.

    The breather tube is about 2 inches long and fits on a small aluminum tube poking out just left, next to the carburetor. From the engine, the rubber tube fits onto the back of the air-filter box.
